Villains and Pirates and Ghosts, Oh My!
It is Day 2 of breaking news for the Disney Destiny – Disney Cruise Line’s soon-to-be 8th ship in the fleet! This brand-new vessel will feature heroes and villains from beloved Disney and Pixar animated films. Yesterday, we learned that it is set to debut out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in December 2025. That is only 1 year after the debut of the Disney Treasure!
On Day 1 of the reveals, we learned about the unique stateroom themes and food and dining locations aboard the Destiny. Today, on Day 2, it is all about the dark side! Oooooh!
AquaMouse: Sing a Silly Song
If you’ve been on a Disney cruise in the past, you might have experienced one of Disney Cruise Line’s signature water rides. Aboard the Disney Destiny, guests can experience an exciting new storyline on the AquaMouse – “Sing a Silly Song!”
On this new aquatic adventure, guests will follow Mickey and Minnie as they embark on a fun-filled journey up Villain Mountain, encountering Disney villains along the way like the Queen of Hearts from “Alice in Wonderland,” and Scar from “The Lion King.” With a mix of humor, music, and pixie dust, this ride promises to be a “splashtacular” experience for everyone!
De Vil’s Piano Bar
After a thrilling ride on the AquaMouse, older guests might want to relax and visit the fashionable world of Cruella de Vil at De Vil’s piano bar. This brand-new themed lounge coming to the Disney Destiny is an adults-only venue featuring a Hollywood Regency-inspired design. Cruella’s bold signature style will decorate this intimate setting with red, black, and white decor. Indulge in chic cocktails, trendy martinis, and glamourous wines while listening to sultry tunes from a Dalmatian-inspired piano in the midst of it all. With its prime location overlooking the Grand Hall, De Vil’s offers a perfect blend of elegance, entertainment, and sinister delights!
Cask and Cannon Pub
Feast your eyes on a brand new pub paying tribute to Disney’s beloved Pirates of the Caribbean, which will be added to the Destiny. This cozy, treasure-filledclude rare rums and specialty brews, retreat will in where guests can indulge pirate-style while sharing tales of mischievous adventures. Live sporting events add to the lively atmosphere, making it a must-visit for any buccaneer!
Haunted Mansion Parlor – Part 2
For fans of Haunted Mansions around the globe, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will get a second home aboard the Disney Destiny. Foolish mortals will discover new ghosts, ghoulish cocktails, and a haunting storyline that will surely follow them home!
Exclusive Villain Meet-and-Greets
Guests aboard the Disney Destiny will meet their favorite Disney villains and misunderstood characters. Take a picture with your favorite foe including Maleficent, Hades, Loki, Oogie Boogie, and shhh…we don’t talk about Bruno!
Special events and activities will also offer unique interactions with these iconic characters, adding to the ship’s enchanting atmosphere. From dance parties to interactive trivia, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
