Capture Your Moment is a reserved Disney PhotoPass session for families or special occasions. Before adding it to your Magic Kingdom day, budget for both the appointment and the pictures you want to keep.
How much is Capture Your Moment at Magic Kingdom?
Disney currently lists $99 for 20 minutes, with payment at booking. Park admission and photo downloads are separate. Eligible Memory Maker, Memory Maker One Day or annual-pass PhotoPass download benefits cover session downloads.
Where can you take the pictures?
Available areas include Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland and Liberty Square. Your photographer confirms the location; the session does not include access to rides, restaurants, characters or restricted areas.
How do you book and check in?
Reserve online or in My Disney Experience. Limited same-day openings may be available. Check in at Liberty Square Ticket Office near The Hall of Presidents at least 10 minutes early. Late arrival does not extend your session.
How many people can join?
One session accommodates up to eight guests. Larger groups need two sessions, with the second starting 30 minutes after the first. Children under 14 need an accompanying adult age 18 or older.
When will the photos appear?
Allow up to 48 hours. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows incur the full session charge. Review Disney’s current session details and terms before booking.
Is a private photo session right for your family?
It may suit a milestone trip or a family that wants more time with a photographer. If your main priority is rides, consider whether the appointment fits your schedule without making the day feel rushed.
- Leave a buffer for security, park entry and walking to check-in.
- Avoid placing the session immediately before a dining reservation across the park.
- Bring comfortable shoes and choose outfits everyone can enjoy wearing throughout the day.
- Decide how you will pay for downloads before booking, especially if you do not already plan to buy Memory Maker.
