2024 festival archive: These additions debuted during EPCOT’s November 29–December 30, 2024 Festival of the Holidays. That event has ended. Use this recap for inspiration, then confirm the offerings for your own travel year.
CommuniCore Hall gave festival visitors another place to enjoy seasonal decorations, food and a gingerbread display. Here is what the 2024 additions offered families visiting EPCOT.
What was inside CommuniCore Hall for the holidays?
An 8-foot gingerbread version of Spaceship Earth was the centerpiece. Glittering Grove added decorated trees, and the hall also offered festival merchandise. Read our 2024 EPCOT gingerbread Spaceship Earth photo recap for a closer look.
Which Holiday Kitchens opened in 2024?
- Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow: This kitchen offered a Spaceship Earth-inspired gingerbread triangle decorating kit.
- Favorites of Festivals Past: This location outside the hall brought back dishes from previous festivals.
These were seasonal menus. Food and drinks were purchases, so set aside a snack budget rather than treating every festival experience as included with admission.
What could families do at CommuniCore Plaza?
The 2024 lineup added snowflake decorating and moved JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season to CommuniCore Plaza. Elsewhere in EPCOT, families could enjoy Holiday Storytellers and the seasonal lights on Living with the Land.
How should first-time visitors plan an EPCOT festival day?
Choose your park date first. Then decide which attractions, meals and entertainment matter most to your family. Leave room between reservations for walking, resting and trying festival food. Avoid planning a current trip around the kitchen names or entertainment locations in this 2024 recap.
