Where was EPCOT’s gingerbread Spaceship Earth?
The display stood inside CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT. It was about 8 feet tall, with lights and music that played periodically. Visitors could look for the countdown to the next presentation.
How many gingerbread pieces were used?
Disney described almost 1,000 handcrafted gingerbread triangles—not more than 1,000. The recipe included 100 pounds of royal icing, and the design hid 11 Mickeys representing the World Showcase countries. See Disney’s 2024 gingerbread display announcement for the original details.
Could guests buy a gingerbread triangle?
Yes. The 2024 Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow Holiday Kitchen sold a Spaceship Earth-inspired gingerbread triangle decorating kit. Guests bought a separate treat; they did not take pieces from the display itself. This was a seasonal offering, so do not assume the same item will be available during a future trip.
