The Disney Cruise Line Unlimited Photo Package includes eligible digital photos taken by the cruise photographers. It can be useful if your family wants character pictures and portraits together. It is optional, and its value depends on how often you stop for photos.
Download reminder: Each photo expires 45 days after it was taken—not 45 days after your cruise ends. Download and back up your pictures promptly.
What does the Disney Cruise photo package include?
Photographers offer portraits, character photos and other scheduled photo opportunities. Availability varies by sailing. The unlimited package covers eligible digital images; printed products and premium private portrait images are separate purchases. Check the Navigator app for photo opportunities, and allow time for lines.
How much does the Disney Cruise photo package cost?
Check the price in your cruise reservation. A past sailing’s price is not a reliable quote for your trip. Disney offers a discount for purchasing the Unlimited Digital Photo Package before sailing compared with its onboard price.
Before purchasing, compare the package with your photo budget. A family planning several character visits and evening portraits may use it more than travelers who prefer their own phone pictures.
How do you book the photo package?
When eligible activities open for your reservation, look for the package under Onboard Fun for the first day of your cruise. Review the current price and terms before confirming. Ask the onboard photo team for help if images are missing from your gallery.

Can two staterooms share one photo package?
A package normally covers the purchasing stateroom. Eligible photos must include at least one guest from that room. Immediate-family children age 20 or younger in another stateroom can be linked by the onboard photo team. Ask at Shutters; do not assume every room in an extended-family group is included.

Is the photo package free for Pearl members?
Pearl Castaway Club members receive the Unlimited Digital Photo Package as a benefit. It applies to the member and occupants of that stateroom, rather than automatically covering the entire travel party. Check the benefit attached to your reservation before buying a duplicate package.
When do Disney Cruise photos expire?
Disney’s photo expiration policy gives each image 45 days from the date it was captured. Photos taken early in the cruise therefore expire first. Check your gallery’s expiration dates and save a second copy somewhere you control.
U.S. residents can purchase photos after a cruise at higher post-cruise prices. That option is not available to residents of every country. Arrange your purchase before leaving the ship if you need the onboard service.
Are private portraits included?
Premium private portrait experiences are separate from the standard package. Ask the photo team about available sessions, image prices and products before booking. Do not assume an appointment includes the finished digital files or prints.
Is the Disney Cruise photo package worth it?
- Consider it if you want everyone in the picture, enjoy character photos and will make time for portraits.
- Compare other options if you only want a few images or prefer casual phone photos.
- Check before leaving: review your gallery with the photo team, confirm any eligible linked children and resolve missing pictures.
