When was the Disney Destiny maiden voyage?
Disney Destiny began passenger service from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on November 20, 2025. Its inaugural program featured four- and five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises. Disney’s official ship’s log documents the launch.
How do you compare Disney Destiny itineraries?
Compare the port list before choosing a date. A cruise’s length alone does not tell you whether it visits Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay, or both. Allow time to travel to Fort Lauderdale and check the departure terminal in your cruise documents.

How much does a Disney Destiny cruise cost?
Request a quote for your travel dates, party size, children’s ages, and room category. The introductory prices in the original 2024 announcement applied to selected sailings that have passed. They are not a current price estimate.
When comparing quotes, ask what is included and budget separately for transportation, gratuities, excursions, and optional purchases. Our Disney cruise dining guide explains the difference between regular dining and extra-cost experiences.
Can you still book the inaugural maiden voyage?
No. That sailing has ended. For a future cruise, review the deposit, cancellation, and final-payment terms attached to your specific reservation. Special maiden-voyage terms from the original announcement should not be applied to every Disney Destiny booking.
