When could you book the 2025 free dining plan?
The booking window was January 2 through February 10, 2025. The offer applied to most arrivals May 27–June 26 and July 7–August 6, 2025. It required a qualifying non-discounted package with at least three nights, three ticket days and the Park Hopper option at a participating Disney Resort hotel.
These terms are from Disney’s original free dining announcement. They should not be used to estimate eligibility for a different year.
Was this the same as the later 2025 dining offer?
No. Disney released promotions with different booking windows, travel dates and minimum package requirements. Our later 2025 free dining offer archive covers a separate announcement. Both offers are historical.
How do you compare a dining offer with a room discount?
Compare the total package price for the same hotel, dates, ticket type and party. Then consider what you would actually spend on meals. “Free dining” does not automatically make one package the least expensive choice.
Check the current terms for tips, alcoholic drinks, extra purchases and dining locations that require more than one meal credit. Do not assume every character meal or dining package uses a single credit. A dining plan does not guarantee restaurant reservations.
