Mickey’s Toontown is a land inside Disneyland Park in California. It combines rides, character homes and places for children to play. For a first visit, plan time to explore rather than treating it only as a stop for one ride.

What can you do in Mickey’s Toontown?
The land includes Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Chip ’n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster and Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin. You can also visit Mickey’s House, explore Minnie’s House and spend time in the play areas. Check the Disneyland app for each attraction’s height rules, hours and availability.
CenTOONial Park: a break between rides
CenTOONial Park has interactive play features, including a fountain and a dreaming tree. Let children explore at their own pace. Choose a meeting point before anyone spreads out, and keep supervising children while they play.

What is Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard?
This interactive area features a sound garden and clubhouse. It is a play space, not a roller coaster. If your child wants a coaster, look for the separate Chip ’n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster and check its requirements.
Is Donald’s Duck Pond a splash pad?
Do not promise children an operating splash pad based on older opening-day descriptions. Disney’s current listing describes spinning water lilies, rocking toys and scenes through the boat’s portholes. Check which features are available during your visit. The area may close for fireworks.

Where can you eat or shop in Toontown?
Café Daisy serves food in the land, while Good Boy! Grocers offers snacks and drinks. EnginEAR Souvenirs sells Mickey and friends merchandise. Menus, stock and operating hours can change, so check the app before making a special trip for an item.
Tips for visiting Toontown with young children
- Keep the schedule flexible. A play break may be more useful than another queue when children are tired.
- Check individual attraction rules. A land aimed at families does not mean every ride suits every child.
- Plan around evening closures. Check current hours before leaving all your Toontown plans until after dinner.
- Bring everyday essentials. Water, sun protection and a change of clothes can make a long park day easier.
For current attractions and dining, see Disney’s Mickey’s Toontown directory. The Donald’s Duck Pond listing explains its current play features.
