Universal Epic Universe is open. The park welcomed guests on May 22, 2025. If you found this original opening announcement while planning a trip, the ticket rules have changed since its first publication. You are no longer limited to the launch-period ticket choices described here in 2024.
Reviewed October 13, 2026. Ticket availability, prices and attraction participation depend on your travel dates and the product purchased.
Can you buy a one-day Epic Universe ticket?
Yes. One-day Epic Universe tickets are available, and there are multi-day options that include the park. Some 2026 multi-day tickets allow repeat visits to Epic Universe. Do not assume an older ticket or annual pass includes it: read the parks, dates and number of visits listed on your specific ticket.
Before paying, confirm these four details:
- Included parks: Does the ticket explicitly list Epic Universe?
- Valid dates: Is admission tied to a selected day or a date window?
- Number of Epic Universe visits: Is it one visit or access on multiple eligible days?
- Park-to-Park access: Can you visit more than one included park on the same day?
For the wider trip, use our Universal Orlando Planning Guide to compare tickets, hotels and park days.
What are the five worlds at Epic Universe?
- Celestial Park
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
- Dark Universe
For a first visit, have each person choose a few priorities before you build a schedule. That makes it easier to balance major rides with shows, meals and breaks. One day can be a useful introduction; a second eligible day gives you more room for favorites and anything you missed.
Does Epic Universe have Express Pass and VIP tours?
Yes. Epic Universe Express Pass and VIP experiences are available. They are separate from regular park admission. Check that the add-on covers Epic Universe on the correct day; an Express product for Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure is not automatically valid here.
Express provides a separate queue at participating attractions. A VIP tour is a guided experience with its own inclusions and schedule. Compare the total cost for your party, the rides you care about and how much planning support you want. Neither option should be described as a guaranteed money saver for every family.
Which hotel benefits apply to Epic Universe?
Eligible Universal hotel guests can receive Early Park Admission to select attractions with valid park admission. Check the participating park, attractions and hours for your visit. Early admission does not mean every ride opens early.
Helios Grand Hotel does not include complimentary Express Unlimited. The included Express Unlimited benefit at Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel and Portofino Bay applies to participating attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, not Epic Universe.
Read our Helios Grand Hotel rooms and park-access guide and the Loews hotel benefits comparison before choosing a hotel for its perks.
What should you book first?
- Choose travel dates and the number of park days your family wants.
- Compare hotel location, room capacity and included benefits.
- Select admission that covers each planned park day.
- Price Express or a VIP experience separately if it fits your priorities.
- Review transportation and leave room for breaks.
