Our team enjoyed the classic Hollywood Christmas atmosphere, live music and specialty food. Those are personal impressions from the visit, not a guarantee that every family will value the event in the same way.
When did Jollywood Nights take place in 2024?
The separately ticketed event ran on selected nights November 9–December 21, 2024, from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Those dates and the old ticket prices are historical. Use current event details before booking another season.
What was new for the 2024 season?
Glisten! introduced a skating show on Hollywood Boulevard, and a new Pixar dance party added another entertainment option. Ollie-themed merchandise gave fans more souvenirs to browse. These were among the additions described in Disney’s 2024 event preview.
Live music was a highlight of our night
The band at the Tip Top Club was one of our favorite experiences. Jollywood offered a different pace from a day focused only on rides: stopping to listen and enjoy the atmosphere was part of the appeal.
Were ride waits always short?
No single photograph can establish wait times for an entire event. Our Tower of Terror photo showed a posted 25-minute wait at that moment. Conditions vary by attraction, time and operating status, so shorter waits should be a possible benefit rather than a promise.
Food and drinks from our visit
We enjoyed sampling the event’s food and beverage offerings. These purchases were separate from admission. Menus change, so the photograph below documents an earlier visit rather than a current ordering guide.
Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby was another option for guests who wanted food and live music to be a main part of their evening. For future trips, check reservation arrangements and allow enough time for dining instead of squeezing it between every show.
Entertainment and character experiences
Our 2024 coverage highlighted Disney Holidays in Hollywood, the Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! and character experiences around the park. The band at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle added another memorable stop.
Do not use old showtimes, Fantasmic! times or character locations to plan a different year. A character “experience” can also be different from a dedicated posed-photo meet-and-greet. Check the event guide and ask a Cast Member about the current setup.
Would Jollywood Nights suit your trip?
It may appeal if you enjoy holiday entertainment, music and a late evening at Hollywood Studios. Consider the separate ticket cost, additional food budget and your family’s stamina. Choose your priorities before purchasing, especially if young children are unlikely to enjoy a late night.
