An All-New Live Show Arrives at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Summer 2025
Something wicked this way comes! Starting in the summer of 2025, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will host the spellbinding “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After,” an all-new live show starring Disney’s most infamous rogues. Hosted by the enigmatic Magic Mirror, the production promises humor, drama, and a splash of villainous charm. Watch as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Maleficent, and other iconic villains shatter the boundaries between their worlds and ours at the newly reimagined Sunset Showcase theater, previously home to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.

A Villainous Legacy Reborn
The upcoming show continues Hollywood Studios’ history of villainous entertainment. Previously, the Sunset Showcase venue hosted “Club Villain,” a ticketed event where guests partied with Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and other villains amidst New Orleans-inspired decor, music, and food. Originally running from January to March 2016, “Club Villain” returned for Halloween in 2017 before permanently closing.
While “Club Villain” celebrated villains in an intimate lounge setting, “Unfairly Ever After” will bring them into a larger theatrical production. This shift allows Disney Live Entertainment to expand its storytelling with dazzling visuals, new technology, and a full cast of evildoers.
Unlike its predecessor, this new show focuses on the villains’ perspectives, giving them the chance to explain why they’ve been so misunderstood. It’s a wickedly exciting way for fans to connect with their favorite fiends.
