Updated October 13, 2026. Pixar Place Hotel is a Disneyland Resort hotel with Pixar-inspired rooms and public spaces. It is the reimagined former Paradise Pier Hotel. This guide explains what to compare before choosing it for your first Disneyland vacation.
What rooms are available at Pixar Place Hotel?
Room choices and views vary. Ask for the exact bed arrangement, occupancy limit and view category in your quote instead of assuming every room matches a photograph. Club-Level bookings include access to the Creators Club lounge; standard bookings do not automatically include that service.
Does Pixar Place Hotel have character dining?
The current dining lineup includes Great Maple Modern American Eatery, The Sketch Pad Café and Small Bytes on the pool deck. Do not book a meal expecting Pixar characters to visit your table. Hotel character encounters, when offered, are separate from character dining.
Check Disney’s Pixar Place dining information for current restaurant details. If a character meal is a priority, ask your advisor to compare designated character-dining locations elsewhere at the resort.
What park benefit comes with a hotel stay?
The current hotel benefit is one entry to one eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction during your stay, subject to restrictions. It is not the complete Multi Pass product and does not include Single Pass attractions. Separate admission and a park reservation for the same park and date are required for guests ages 3 and older.
Review Disney’s hotel park-benefit terms before traveling. Our earlier advice to reserve FastPasses in advance was outdated. Disneyland uses Lightning Lane products, and the booking rules differ from Walt Disney World.
How do you get to the parks?
The hotel is near Downtown Disney and the park entrances. Disney also lists access to the California Adventure entrance inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for eligible hotel guests with the required admission and reservation. Check the current route and verification requirements at the hotel.
What can you do outside the parks?
Allow time to enjoy the Pixar artwork and check the hotel’s current recreation schedule. Fireworks viewing is offered from the third-floor pool deck on selected nights, with a synchronized soundtrack. Fireworks are not guaranteed every night.
