Do all Animal Kingdom Lodge rooms have a savanna view?
No. Disney sells several view categories, including resort, water and savanna views. A resort-view room can face a rooftop or parking area; a water-view room can overlook a pool. If watching animals from your room is your priority, request and confirm a Savanna View category. Animal sightings still vary.

What is the difference between Jambo House and Kidani Village?
Jambo House and Kidani Village are separate buildings within the resort area. Choose the specific accommodation and building on your quote rather than assuming they are interchangeable. For meals, Boma, Jiko and The Mara are at Jambo House, while Sanaa is at Kidani Village. Consider the location of the restaurants and facilities you expect to use.
Can guests walk onto the savanna or feed the animals?
Plan to watch wildlife from designated guest viewing areas. The resort savannas are animal habitats, not paths for an independent stroll, and a room reservation is not permission to feed the animals. Follow posted signs and Cast Member instructions.
For a guided experience, Disney offers the separately priced Starlight Safari. The nighttime vehicle tour currently requires guests to be at least 8 years old, with a participating adult for guests under 18. Review its health, accessibility, cancellation and transportation requirements before booking. Availability is limited.
What restaurants are at Animal Kingdom Lodge?
- Boma – Flavors of Africa: a buffet for breakfast and dinner at Jambo House.

How do you get from Animal Kingdom Lodge to the parks?
Complimentary Disney buses are the resort’s main Disney transportation option. Allow time for waiting, travel and any transfers; do not plan on the same journey time to every park. Water-park routes can require a transfer. Check current signs and My Disney Experience for the route you need.
Is Animal Kingdom Lodge a good choice for a first trip?
It is worth comparing if wildlife viewing and resort time are high priorities.
